What is Microneedling?
Microneedling is a scientifically proven skin rejuvenation treatment that stimulates the skin’s natural healing process to improve its overall health, texture, and appearance. Using a medical-grade device with ultra-fine sterile needles, thousands of controlled microchannels are created in the skin. These tiny channels trigger the production of new collagen and elastin—the essential proteins responsible for firm, smooth, and youthful-looking skin—while also enhancing the absorption of professional serums, growth factors, exosomes, or PDRN for even greater results.
As your skin repairs itself, it becomes stronger, healthier, and more radiant. Microneedling helps reduce fine lines and wrinkles, acne scars, enlarged pores, uneven skin texture, and sun damage while improving skin firmness, elasticity, and overall tone. It also helps fade pigmentation and promotes a brighter, more even complexion. Because the treatment works by activating your body’s own regenerative processes, results continue to improve over several weeks as new collagen forms.
Suitable for most skin types, microneedling offers a minimally invasive solution for natural skin rejuvenation with little downtime. A series of treatments is typically recommended for optimal results, leaving your skin smoother, firmer, and noticeably more youthful with long-lasting improvements.
How Do Exosomes Rejuvenate the Skin?
As we age, collagen production decreases, skin renewal slows, and environmental damage accumulates. Exosomes help restore the skin’s regenerative potential by signaling fibroblasts—the cells responsible for producing collagen and elastin—to become more active. This process helps strengthen the skin’s structure, improve firmness, reduce visible signs of aging, and support long-term skin health.
Exosomes also possess anti-inflammatory properties that help calm irritated skin, reduce redness, and accelerate recovery after aesthetic procedures. This makes them an excellent complement to treatments such as microneedling, where they can penetrate through the microchannels created during the procedure for enhanced absorption and effectiveness.
Benefits of Exosome Therapy
Exosome therapy offers numerous skin rejuvenation benefits, including:
- Stimulates collagen and elastin production
- Improves skin firmness and elasticity
- Softens fine lines and wrinkles
- Enhances skin texture and smoothness
- Increases hydration and strengthens the skin barrier
- Brightens dull skin and promotes a healthy glow
- Helps improve uneven skin tone and pigmentation
- Supports the appearance of acne scars and other textural irregularities
- Reduces redness and inflammation
- Accelerates healing and minimizes downtime after procedures
- Protects the skin from oxidative stress and environmental damage
- Promotes overall skin longevity and healthier cellular function
Exosomes with Microneedling
One of the most effective ways to deliver exosomes is immediately after microneedling. During microneedling, thousands of microscopic channels are created in the skin, allowing exosomes to penetrate more deeply into the tissue where they can deliver regenerative signals directly to skin cells. This combination significantly enhances the skin’s healing response, improves collagen stimulation, reduces post-treatment inflammation, and produces faster, more noticeable rejuvenation compared to microneedling alone.
ASCE Exosomes at VivaDerm Aesthetic Clinic
At VivaDerm Aesthetic Clinic, we are committed to offering advanced regenerative treatments backed by science. That’s why we use ASCE+ Exosomes, a premium, pharmaceutical-grade exosome technology developed to support skin regeneration, accelerate healing, and promote healthier, more youthful-looking skin. This plant-based formulation contains purified extracellular vesicles derived from Rosa damascena (Damask rose) callus, combined with hyaluronic acid, peptides, growth-factor–type cosmetic ingredients, amino acids, vitamins, coenzymes and antioxidants. The freeze-dried powder is freshly activated before application and used topically alongside treatments such as microneedling, allowing the formula to reach the skin through the temporary microchannels created during the procedure. ASCE+ SRLV is designed to support the skin’s natural renewal process, replenish hydration, soothe visible redness and strengthen the skin barrier. It can help improve the appearance of fine lines, enlarged pores, uneven texture, dullness and loss of elasticity, leaving the complexion smoother, firmer, brighter and more radiant. The treatment is customized according to each client’s skin condition and rejuvenation goals.
ASCE+ Exosomes contain billions of naturally occurring extracellular vesicles that deliver powerful regenerative signals to skin cells. Rich in growth factors, proteins, peptides, lipids, messenger RNA (mRNA), and microRNA, these exosomes help stimulate collagen and elastin production, reduce inflammation, and enhance the skin’s natural repair mechanisms. Rather than simply treating the surface of the skin, they work at the cellular level to improve overall skin quality and long-term skin health.
A Personalized Regenerative Treatment
Every skin is unique. At VivaDerm Aesthetic Clinic, we customize each microneedling and exosome treatment based on your skin concerns, whether your goal is anti-aging, scar revision, pigmentation correction, skin rejuvenation, or improving overall skin quality.
Most clients notice an improvement in skin hydration, radiance, and smoothness within the first few weeks. As collagen remodeling continues over the following months, the skin becomes firmer, healthier, and more youthful-looking, with results that continue to improve over time.
Microneedling is a safe and effective treatment for many skin concerns. However, it may not be suitable for everyone. Treatment should be postponed or avoided in the following situations:
- Active acne breakouts or inflamed acne
- Active skin infections (bacterial, viral, or fungal), including cold sores (herpes simplex)
- Open wounds, cuts, burns, or irritated skin in the treatment area
- Severe eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, or rosacea flare-ups in the treatment area
- History of keloid or hypertrophic scarring
- Skin cancer or suspicious lesions in the treatment area
- Recent use of isotretinoin (Accutane) within the past 6 months
- Uncontrolled diabetes or medical conditions that impair wound healing
- Bleeding disorders or the use of blood-thinning medications (consultation required)
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding (depending on the products used during treatment)
- Recent facial surgery or radiation therapy (medical clearance may be required)
- Recent chemical peel, laser treatment, or excessive sunburn until the skin has fully healed
- Allergy or sensitivity to any topical products used during the procedure
Who Is a Good Candidate?
Exosome therapy is suitable for most skin types and is ideal for individuals looking to improve signs of aging, sun damage, dullness, dehydration, enlarged pores, acne scars, uneven skin texture, or overall skin quality. It is also an excellent option for those seeking advanced skin rejuvenation with minimal downtime.
Consultation First
A comprehensive skin consultation is performed before every treatment to determine whether microneedling is appropriate for you. If any contraindications are present, your practitioner may recommend postponing treatment or selecting a safer alternative until your skin is ready.
Please inform your practitioner of any medical conditions, medications, allergies, or recent cosmetic procedures before your appointment.
